About

A quiet place to see your own pattern

Memoriya is where you keep the private record of the people you’re seeing — and what it adds up to over months. This page explains what it is, what it deliberately isn’t, how we handle your privacy, how we write the articles in our library, and who stands behind all of it.

What it is

What Memoriya actually does

It starts with a free five-question attachment quiz — no account, and the result stays yours. Then Memoriya gives every person you’re seeing one private page. You put in the things you’d otherwise lose — what they said about their sister, the place they love on a Sunday, the thing you noticed and didn’t want to admit you noticed — along with how it actually felt.

That record is the input. What it adds up to over months is the point: who you keep choosing, and what you keep putting up with. It’s deliberately small — no dense dashboard, no daily obligation, no scores. You capture a little, it surfaces a little, and the rest waits quietly until it’s useful. If a connection turns into something serious, the space you kept on your own can become one you build together.

What it isn't

Four things Memoriya will never be

Most products in this category want your attention. This one wants to give it back. That means some obvious features are missing on purpose:

Not a dating app

Memoriya doesn't match you with anyone — it starts after the match. No profiles to browse, no swiping, no feed.

Not a CRM for people

No pipelines, no stages, no nudges to follow up before a lead goes cold. One private page per person, holding what you actually want to remember.

No scoring or ranking

Nobody gets a number here. Nothing compares one person against another, and nothing tells you who is winning.

No ads, and nothing sold

Your notes are not an advertising surface. There are no ads anywhere in Memoriya, and we do not sell your data.

Why it exists

A label is not evidence

Plenty of sites will hand you a free attachment quiz and sell you a course off the back of it. The label is genuinely useful — it names the way you tend to move when things get close — but it is a general description, drawn from how you answered a handful of questions about yourself. It can’t tell you who you actually picked last spring, or what you let slide in June. None of those sites hold the record of who you dated and how it felt, so nothing there can show you the part you can’t see from inside a single date.

Some people feel strange about writing any of it down, as though caring on paper is colder than caring from memory. We don't think it is. Remembering that someone's dad is having surgery this week isn't strategy — it's attention, and attention is the whole thing. Keeping notes about people you like is normal, and it is usually kind.

The point isn’t to manage people. It’s to stop guessing about yourself — because the months know things a five-question result never will, and only your own record can hand them back to you.

Privacy

Private by default. Shared only with intention.

This is the part that has to be true or none of the rest of it matters. What you write about the people in your life is about as private as writing gets, and we treat it that way.

Our privacy promise

  • Private by default — nothing is public unless you choose it
  • You decide what stays private and what gets shared
  • No public feed, no scoring, no ads
  • We do not sell your personal information
  • Export your memories any time, from Settings
  • Delete your account and your data yourself, from Settings

And one thing we won't overstate: Memoriya is not end-to-end encrypted. Your data lives on our infrastructure, which means a small number of authorized staff can technically reach it — only when it's needed to run or support the service. We'd rather say that here than bury it. The full detail, including what we do and don't share with third parties, is in the Privacy Policy.

Editorial standards

How we write the knowledge library

Alongside the product we publish a library of articles about attachment, early dating, relationship anxiety and the patterns that quietly shape how people connect. Because that subject matter sits close to mental health, here is exactly what those pieces are and aren't.

General education, not advice about you

Articles describe patterns that come up often in modern dating. They can't know your relationship, your history, or what's actually happening between two people — only you do.

Attachment styles are a lens, not a label

Our attachment quiz is five questions. It is a prompt for self-reflection, not a clinical assessment, and no result on this site diagnoses anything about you or anyone you are seeing.

Plain language, no mystique

We write the way we'd explain something to a friend. Where a term is borrowed from psychology, we say what it means in ordinary words rather than leaning on it for authority.

Nothing here is sponsored

No ads, no paid placements, no one buying their way into an article. The library exists to be useful, not to be a channel.

We correct what we get wrong

If something in the library is inaccurate, out of date, or lands badly, tell us at hello@memoriya.app and we'll fix it.

Not therapy, not a diagnosis

Nothing on Memoriya — not an article, not a quiz result, not a reflection prompt — is therapy, clinical advice, or a diagnosis, and none of it is a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

If you're struggling — with anxiety that won't lift, with a relationship that doesn't feel safe, or with anything heavier than a hard week — please talk to a qualified professional, such as a licensed therapist or your local crisis line. Memoriya is a notebook. It isn't care, and it isn't an emergency service.

Who's behind it

The company behind Memoriya

Memoriya is a service owned and operated by Built By Signal LLC. Built By Signal LLC is an Ohio limited liability company. Memoriya is the product; Built By Signal LLC is the company that builds, runs and bills for it, and the publisher of every article in the library.

Questions about the product, a correction for an article, or anything about your data — the same inbox handles all of it.
